Michael Ann Vaughn is a Pediatric Nurse Practitioner at ICAN. She received her Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree from Montana State University, and her Doctorate of Nursing Practice degree from University of Washington. She also completed the LEND (Leadership Education in Neurodevelopmental Disabilities) Fellowship through University of Washington. She is board certified in pediatric primary care and as a pediatric primary care mental health specialist.
Michael is part of the diagnostic evaluation team, primarily evaluating kids for autism spectrum disorder, developmental delays, and ADHD. She enjoys working with families and children through care management and to promote general wellness and developmental progress in areas such as sleep, nutrition, potty training, behavior difficulties and school. She has experience working with children who have been diagnosed with autism spectrum disorder, anxiety, depression, ADHD, and other neurodevelopmental concerns.
Michael is also trained in the Incredible Years Program that works with parents to promote positive parent-child relationships to help advance the social and emotional behavior of children. During her free time, Michael loves to spend time with her family, enjoy the outdoors with her husband, and watch in wonder as her baby, Joel, grows.
