Troopers in Training

Troopers in Training is an upper elementary social group for kids ages 8-11.  This group is an opportunity for children who have understanding and functional use of the Social Thinking curriculum, and are moving towards independence in those skills.  This program utilized a combination of Social Thinking and Relationship Development Inventory Curriculums.  Skill Building in areas of independence and novel social interactions in structured situations, and gross motor play opportunities is the primary focus.
Upper Elementary Social Group targets kids who are motivated by social communication, are able to initiate and complete basic social interactions, and have mature cognitive and problem solving skills.
If your child has a handle on verbal language and can follow group direction with occasional support, he/she is ready to be evaluated for TAG!
