Chelsea is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who has been working with individuals with special needs for 10 years. Her focus has primarily been working with children with autism and their families across settings. Chelsea is passionate about family collaboration, staff training, inclusive practices and of course, progress for the amazing children she gets to work with.

Chelsea is originally from California and began working in the field of ABA while living there. Upon visiting Washington for the first time, she knew that this was where she wanted to settle. She graduated from the University of Washington with her Masters in Early Childhood Special Education in 2010.

In her free time, Chelsea enjoys spending time with her husband and young son, hiking, swimming and camping.

Kerry is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst who began working with children with disabilities over 7 years ago.

Before joining the ICAN Center for Autism team, Kerry worked as a behavior analyst in California doing home programming and running an autism center focusing on early intervention services for young children with autism.

Kerry graduated with her Master’s from the University of Washington in Early Childhood Special Education and Applied Behavior Analysis in 2013. While getting her Master’s degree, she taught as a developmental preschool teacher in a reverse mainstreamed classroom in a Seattle Public School. Kerry received her Bachelor’s degree from Gonzaga University in Special Education and endorsements in Early Childhood Special Education and Elementary Education.

Kerry is originally from Bainbridge Island, Washington and loves to read, travel and spend time with family!

Sara grew up in Sammamish, Washington and has been involved in the Autism community from an early age. She has close family friends who have children with Autism, and has spent a great amount of time volunteering with therapy sessions and child care. Sara graduated from Washington State University and began working as an ABA therapist in an inclusion model preschool. During this time, she developed individual student objectives; trained staff in fluency based instruction, and wrote data presentations for conferences nationwide. During her time as an ABA therapist she received her Master’s in Education. Sara has ten years experience working in a preschool setting along with conducting behavioral and educational assessments for young children. She is excited to be joining a diverse team of professionals of many different specialties. Sara’s approach to preschool is to learn through play and exploration, and is looking forward to contributing her skills to the ICAN Center for Autism community.

In her spare time, Sara is a home DIY master (living through a remodel!) and makes time for dance classes, going to Seahawks & Mariners games, and her dog Risky.

Michelle is a board certified behavior analyst (BCBA), earning her master’s in Applied Behavior Analysis from FIT in July of 2010. She earned her bachelor’s in psychology, emphasizing in behavior analysis, at USU. Michelle has provided behavior analysis services for the past 6 years, specializing in Early Intervention (EI). Michelle is passionate about increasing independence and strengthening relationships, focusing on language development and developmentally appropriate programming. Michelle has joined ICAN after spending the past two years providing services to individuals with disabilities in Utah. She loves the Northwest and is excited about having her baby boy near his grandparents.

Born and raised in Woodinville, Washington, Jamie grew up knowing she wanted to be a teacher. She received her B.A. in Psychology, deciding to narrow her focus away from classroom teaching and towards early childhood education. During college, she interned at a therapeutic preschool for children with behavioral disorders and found a real passion for helping kids who struggle for any reason. She has worked with children in a variety of different settings such as preschool, daycare, summer camp, and as an ABA therapist. She is excited to join the ICAN team, and continue to grow and learn from the children and staff. In her free time, she likes to read, cook, and go geocaching.

Megan graduated from Washington State University with a degree in Biology with an emphasis in pre-Physical and Occupational Therapy.  She spent her college summers working in the home health field with clients with neurological injuries and disorders.  She enjoys traveling to other countries, and spent a summer teaching HIV/AIDS education in northern Ethiopia.  In her free time, Megan enjoys running, hiking, being with family and friends, playing and watching sports, and reading.

Caitlin was born and raised in Seattle. She has always had a passion for working with children and spent much of her time leading youth groups or volunteering in the Seattle School District. Caitlin is currently an Early Childhood and Family Studies major at the University of Washington and plans to get her Masters degree in Education. She completed an internship at ICAN Center for Autism during the summer of 2014 and absolutely fell in love with working with children with autism and is very excited to be a part of the LCA team! In her free time Caitlin enjoys playing soccer, traveling and spending time with friends and family.
